To which board is the school affiliated?
Ans.
The
School follows 10+2 system of education and is affiliated
to the COUNCIL FOR THE INDIAN SCHOOL CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION,
NEW DELHI.

Where is the school situated?
Ans.
The school takes pride in being situated in the green lap
of Dehra Dun, the Education Capital of India, located 240
km north-east of Delhi just 2300 ft. above sea level. The
great Himalayas, the beautiful Shivaliks, the Holy Ganges
and Jamuna make the four boundaries of this elegant valley.

How can we reach the school?
Ans.
Dehradun is well connected to Delhi by: air, railways
and road. The School is: 15 Kms. from the Airport, 06 Kms.
from the Rialway Station and I.S.Bus Terminus. For local

What is the eligibility for Registration ?
Ans.
The registration for a particular class will be based on
the age of the child, and the class he/she has passed previously.
For play group the minimum age is 3 years. For class I the
child should be 5 years by 31st March of the preceding academic
session.

When and where can we get the Registration Form and School
Prospectus ?
Ans.
You can get the Prospectus with Registration Form from the
School Office on all working days between 9 AM and 4 PM
on payment of Prospectus Charges or down load it from our
website.

What is the price of Prospectus & Reg. Form?
Ans.
Prospectus Charge with Reg.Form are Rs.
250/- and $ 10/- (for NRI/ Foreigner). Registration Fee is Rs. 200/- or $
10/- (for NRI/ Foreigner).

How do I pay the amount ?
Ans.
You can make payment in different ways as follows:

Q8.
What documents are needed at the time of Registration in
Play Group, Nursery, K. G. and Class ONE onwards ?
Ans. THE DOCUMENTS REQUIRED ARE:
For All Classes-;
a) Attested photocopy of the Birth Certificate
.
b) Address proof of the Parents.
c ) 6 pp. size colored photos of each : Moth Child.
For Class One onwards-
d) Attested photocopy of Mark Sheet of class
last attended (if available).
e) Attested photocopy of Transfer Certificate (T.C.) from school last attended (if available).

After registration you will be intimated the time, date
and venue for the entrance test through Mail/Email/Telephone

Is there any easier/direct way to register ones Child/Ward
?
Ans. Yes, the Registration can be done as follows:
Registration Form can be downloaded from our website,
filled/completed (without cuttings or errors) and
signed duly by the legal Parent of the Child. This
Form along with a sum of Rs. 550/-for India Or $ 20/-for
Abroad as Registration Fee + Postage and all the
Documents (see Documents
Required under ADMISSIONS) must be sent to
the School Address (see contact
us) through registered speed post Or courier. The payments must be made vide D.D. in
favor
of 'SANSKAR INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL' Dehradun. Detail
of payment made should be mentioned in the Registration
Form.
Please
Note: Your latest Correspondence Address, Email and

When can parents meet the Principal?
Ans. Anytime
during office, by prior appointment.
Q16.
What are the school timing?
Ans.
We
have separate Day Schedules for Summers and Winters.
The Summer Schedule starts with the assembly at 7:40 AM. 1st
bell of the day rings at 7:35 AM for all to assemble.
However the staff members reach the school campus 10 minutes
before the 1st bell. After the Assembly all the staff
members and the students move to settle down in their
respective classrooms. The 1st school for serious study
commences with a bell at 8:05 AM . We have four schools of
35 minutes each before a break of 15 minutes
commencing at 10:25 AM; followed by five schools,
after which the school gets over at 1:30 PM. The
Winter Schedule is similar to that of Summer except that it
commences 20 minutes late i.e. 1st bell for the day rings at
7:55AM and the classes gets over at 1:50PM.
